PASTOR’S AID MINISTRY
1 Timothy 5:17-18 NKJV
“17 Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in word and doctrine. 18 For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”
MISSION STATEMENT:
To lead the congregation in fulfilling the Biblical responsibilities of providing for the Pastor and to aid the Pastor that they may faithfully and effectively fulfill pastoral responsibilities. To provide supplementary support to the Pastor and the Pastor’s family spiritually, personally, and professionally.
VISION STATEMENT:
LSFJM Pastor’s Aid Ministry Is committed to “Building a Relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, here at LSFJM, the Church and the world, all for the glory of God.”
OBJECTIVE AND GOALS:
- Participate in the advancement of the church’s vision and mission
- Honor the Pastor for the leadership and guidance through, Prayer, Fellowship, Encouragement, Recognition (Birthday, Anniversary, etcetera), Love Offerings, and Gifts
SCHEDULED MINISTRY MEETINGS:
The Pastor Aid’s meeting will be held on the 4th Sunday immediately after service.
